Rental terms and conditions

Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 10:00. Other times may be agreed with the owner depending on the schedule.

Your booking becomes firm upon payment of a deposit (acompte) of 30% of the total. This deposit is binding on both parties.

The balance is due 30 days before arrival.

End-of-stay cleaning is not included: the chalet is returned tidy and clean, or the cleaning option is booked with your stay.

Displayed rates include the tourist tax: nothing will be asked of you for it on arrival.

A security deposit of €500 is required for the stay. It is returned within 15 days of departure, less any damage recorded at the check-out inspection.

• Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival: 100% of sums paid refunded.
• Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 50% of sums paid refunded.
• Thereafter: no refund.

In the event of force majeure making the stay impossible, the parties will arrange a postponement or a refund.

• Smoking outside : Please smoke only in the authorised areas: [TO SPECIFY]. An ashtray is provided [TO SPECIFY where]; empty it [TO SPECIFY] and store it [TO SPECIFY] after use. Cigarette butts on the ground are strictly forbidden, including in the garden, out of respect for this natural place, the owners' work, the neighbours and wildlife.

Guests must hold third-party liability holiday insurance (villégiature) for the duration of the stay (usually included in home insurance policies).

The contract is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution; guests may use a consumer mediation service free of charge.
